Manuscript Submission Information:

When submitting your manuscript to JEN be sure to type and submit the manuscript using the JEN Template and be sure to indicate the manuscript type (Case Study, Research Briefs, and Original Research, Short Reviews, Meta-Analysis) on the template. The submitted manuscript must include all tables, figures, and properly formatted references as they will be presented for the final copy of the manuscript.

On the submission page (https://www.journalofexerciseandnutrition.com/submitManuscript.php), the corresponding author must include all pertinent contact information and include a certifying statement that all work is original, not previously publish in any journal, that all authors agree to the transfer of copyright to JEN, and that all authors made significant contributions to the manuscript.   

JEN only accepts original works not published or under review in any other peer-reviewed journal. The journal reserves the right to reject research for flaws in research design, statistical analyses, overall low impact, and content outside of the aims and scope. Manuscript Publication Fee:

*Manuscripts submitted before 01 January 2020, the nominal publication fee will be waived and reduced to $0 USD.*

For all manuscript submissions after 01 January 2020, the nominal manuscript publication fee of $300 USD must be paid after a manuscript has been “accepted” following the peer review process. The nominal manuscript publication fee of $300 USD is reduced to $100 USD for 1st author graduate students at the time of submission.

Open Access:

JEN is an open access journal whereby all manuscripts are required to undergo the peer review process. Accepted peer-reviewed manuscripts are open access immediately after publication and are available for viewing, downloading, and citing.
